Use fixed days or a repeating interval
Set laundry for Wednesday and Saturday, a windowsill clean every three weeks or cupboards every three months. Each recurring task has a first date. The schedule follows that date, even if you finish late.
Keep one-time tasks easy to find
Give a one-time task a title, optional due date, priority and notes. Search the list or filter today's tasks, overdue tasks and completed entries. Drag tasks in My order to choose their printed order.
Decide what happens when a chore is missed
Enable carry-over to keep an overdue chore visible. The daily list shows the latest due occurrence rather than stacking every missed repetition. Completed entries remain available in the task history and can be reopened.
A practical example
A household list you do not rewrite each week
Make dishes daily, laundry twice a week and windowsills every three weeks. Add booking a dentist appointment as a one-time task. Review your printed checklist in the evening and save the completed items online.
